Childhood birthdays hold a special magic, and creating memorable celebrations for my boys is something deeply important to me. It’s more than just cake and gifts—it’s about reminding them how much better the world is because they’re in it.
This year, my oldest, Raymond, is turning nine and opted for an intimate celebration at an indoor playground with a few close friends. Brayden, who’s turning five, chose to celebrate at an equestrian center, inviting all his preschool classmates. They’ll learn about horses and even enjoy riding them!
My youngest, Lincoln, is turning three and absolutely loves Spiderman right now, so we’re having his party at a hobby farm. They’ll start with a fun Spiderman-themed painting activity, then spend time feeding and petting the adorable farm animals.
Of course, there will be plenty of delicious food—I love feeding people, and no celebration feels complete without a tasty spread. Creating personalized invitations in Canva made the planning easy and fun, adding a special touch to the celebrations.
Hosting these birthdays is more than just throwing parties; it’s my heartfelt way of showing my boys—and the world—how special and loved they truly are.
How do you celebrate your children’s birthdays? I’d love to hear your favorite traditions!
