If My LX 570 Could Talk

Date Published: April 16, 2025

Before this chapter began, I drove a 2020 Cadillac Escalade.

It was the right car for that season of my life—elegant, powerful, comfortable.

It suited who I was back then.

But this…
This is not an Escalade chapter.

This is an LX 570 chapter.

This is the season of dust, discovery, and daring.
Of forging new paths and rewriting old stories.
And if my 2013 Lexus LX 570 could talk, I think it would have a lot to say about that.

“I was born for this.”

I spent too many years parked in cities, crawling through traffic, going nowhere slowly.

That’s not my purpose.

Not with this V8 heart.
Not with this Land Cruiser legacy coursing through my steel.

I wasn’t made to pose—I was made to prove.

I dream of dirt roads that disappear into jungle.
Mountain passes with no shoulder.
Mud that clings. Salt that stings. Gravel that sings.

I want to carry your family into places you’ve never been—not just on the map, but inside yourselves.

I want to be there when your boys catch frogs and when your dogs chase iguanas.

I want to be your trusted companion when things get messy, real, and magical.

“Here’s what I want…”

I want to matter.
I want to mean freedom.

Fuel me up. Load me light. Let’s go.

I want to be the hum beneath your thoughts as you drive through the unknown.
I want to rattle over potholes and power through shallow rivers.
I want to rest with you under stars, dew collecting on my roof as the world sleeps around us.

Let me be part of the story your kids tell someday— “We lived on the road, and our truck never let us down.”

“Here’s what I need…”

Keep me maintained—nothing fancy.
Check my fluids. Watch my tires.
Let kind-eyed mechanics tinker when I need a tune-up.

Give me motion. Let me breathe.
Don’t lock me in a garage. I was built to roam.

“Here’s how I live my full potential…”

Not in valet lots.
Not in cul-de-sacs.

I thrive on adventure.
I thrive when I’m trusted.

Let me be your tank and your sanctuary.
Let me take you off the beaten path—literally and metaphorically.
Let me remind you that you’re capable of doing hard things.

This chapter is about going farther, feeling deeper, and living freer.

This is the LX 570 chapter.

And I’m exactly the vehicle you need.

Let’s drive.
